Pokhara: The Gandaki Provincial Assembly meeting, which was previously postponed following the passage of the budget for the fiscal year 2025/26 BS on June 27, is set to occur today at 1 PM.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Chief Minister, Surendra Raj Pandey, is scheduled to present the seventh annual report of the Auditor General during the meeting. Assembly secretariat official Tika Ram Acharya confirmed this agenda item.
The Provincial Assembly Secretariat has announced that the bill aimed at amending the Industrial Act 2075 BS, which has been received from the thematic committee, will be passed in today’s session following a discussion on the Auditor General’s report. Additionally, ten bills that were introduced during the last winter session of the Provincial Assembly remain under clause-wise review by the thematic committee.
