Kathmandu: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Daniele Giovanni Cassis held a meeting today. Home Minister Lekhak is currently overseeing the responsibilities of the Foreign Ministry.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting involved discussions on various topics, including the friendly relations between Nepal and Switzerland. Spokesperson of the Home Ministry, Ram Chandra Tiwari, stated that Home Minister Lekhak expressed appreciation for Switzerland’s support in Nepal’s development efforts and peace process.
The discussions also covered development initiatives in both countries, economic partnerships, climate change, and disaster risk management. Additionally, the meeting addressed other matters of bilateral interest.
