Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, appointed Senior Advocate Mahesh Kumar Nepal as a member of the Judicial Council.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a statement issued by Spokesperson of the Office of the President, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, confirmed that Nepal, a resident of Bhojpur in Bhojpur Municipality-8, was appointed as a member of the Council. This appointment was made pursuant to Clause (d) 1 of Article 153 of the Constitution.
