Kathmandu: The country is currently experiencing the effects of monsoon winds. The Weather Forecasting Division has indicated that the low-pressure belt of the monsoon is near the average range.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the weather service has reported that the weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the day today. Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected in certain hilly regions across all provinces. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is anticipated in one to two locations within the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Additionally, there is a likelihood of light rains and snowfall in the upper hilly and mountainous regions.
