Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has emphasized the importance of nurturing the friendship between Nepal and China across generations. He stated that the Nepalese government is fully committed to taking necessary actions to further strengthen the bilateral relationship.
According to National News Agency Nepal, addressing the Nepal-China Cultural Summit, 2025, organized by ‘Phoenix Inspiration’ on the 70th anniversary of Nepal-China diplomatic ties, Prime Minister Oli highlighted that events commemorating this milestone play a crucial role in enhancing mutual cultural relations. He remarked that such initiatives convey a significant message, promoting the growth of mutual friendship and fostering multi-dimensional relations between the two ancient nations.
During the summit, Prime Minister Oli also recognized several individuals for their contributions to society. Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, was awarded the Youth Empowerment Award. Meanwhile, Rajesh Kaji Shrestha and Birendra Raj Pandey received the Business Leadership Award, and Anuradha Sharma was honored with the Education Excellence Award.
