Langdi: The body of a man who went missing along with his wife after a landslide buried their house in Langdi, Deurali of Modi Rural Municipality-3 has been recovered. Chhabilal Bishwakarma, 78, and his wife Bishnumati, 76, went missing after their one-storey house was buried in the incident that occurred last night. The couple’s daughter-in-law, Pabitra, 32, managed to escape the landslide by jumping out of the house.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the body of Bishwakarma was found buried by locals and security personnel, as reported by Rabin Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office. The search for Bishnumati is still ongoing.
