Policy Reform Imperative for Prosperity: Chair Dahal


Kathmandu: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, emphasized the necessity of policy reform and a shift in the State’s perspective to achieve national prosperity. Speaking at a meeting with the newly elected office bearers of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries held at his residence in Khumaltar, Dahal highlighted the importance of creating a conducive environment for the private sector to flourish.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Dahal, who is also a former Prime Minister, stated that altering the State’s mindset and policies would enable the private sector to thrive and significantly contribute to the national economy. He stressed that the State should adopt a facilitating role to support this development.



During the meeting, the office bearers of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries reiterated the crucial role of the private sector in the national economy, aligning with Dahal’s vision for economic growth through policy reforms.
