Pudasaini Elected NRNA UK President


London: Rajendra Pudasaini has been elected as the President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) UK chapter.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the vote count that concluded last night showed Pudasaini defeating his two competitors, Govinda Kharel and Manish Khatri, to lead the NRNA in the United Kingdom. Pudasaini secured 1,482 votes, while Kharel received 977 votes and Khatri obtained 496 votes.

In addition to the presidential election, Ujjwal Karki, Dr. Raksha Thapa, and Ram Prasad Kandel were elected as Vice-Presidents. Diwakar Pandey was elected as the General Secretary, with DN Kharal and Krishna Devkota taking on the roles of Secretary in the open category. Furthermore, Bishnu Kharel and Chhabilal Aryal were elected as members, while Rammaya Bista Thapa won the position of England State Council President.

Following his victory, Pudasaini announced that his immediate priority would be to unite all Nepalis residing in the UK.
