Kathmandu: Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Indira Rana, arrived home last night, concluding her six-day official visit to the People’s Republic of China.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Deputy Speaker Rana attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Summit held from July 23 to 27 in Henan Province, China. During the inaugural session of the Summit, she reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to the SCO, expressing her hope that the organization would contribute significantly to the prosperity of its member states.
Throughout her visit, Rana engaged in several meetings with Chinese officials from Henan Province. Her itinerary also included visits to various sites in the province, including the capital city, Zhengzhou.
