Kathmandu: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has called for the establishment of the party through engagement with social organisations. At a discussion organised by the Social Welfare Department of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Chair Dahal highlighted the importance of the party’s positive intervention in social organisations. He stressed the need for an active and positive role in these organisations within the current political landscape.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chair Dahal pointed out that while CPN (Maoist Centre) leaders and cadres are involved in various organisations, many are hesitant to disclose their party affiliation. He urged a change in this tendency, advocating for excellence in social organisations where party leaders and cadres participate. Dahal also discussed the CPN (Maoist Centre)’s concept of an independent national economy, noting its distinctiveness from other political parties and emphasizing its establishment at the grassroots level.
