NEJA Launches Fundraising Campaign for Ailing Journalist Wagle

Walnut creek: The Nepal America Journalists’ Association (NEJA) has initiated a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe.com, seeking financial support for the medical treatment of Jivanta Wagle, a lifetime member of the association. Wagle is receiving treatment at Walnut Creek Medical Center in California, US, following a successful brain tumor surgery on July 7.

According to National News Agency Nepal, NEJA has reached out through social media platforms, urging the public to contribute to and share the campaign widely to attract more potential donors. The association hopes to garner enough support to aid in Wagle’s recovery process.

NEJA General Secretary Ishwori Neupane has stated that Wagle is currently on a liquid diet administered via a feeding tube. The medical team has expressed uncertainty regarding the prospect of his full recovery, underscoring the importance of the ongoing fundraising efforts.
