Morang: Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, has vowed assistance to the Miklajung Hospital of Morang. Minister Paudel inaugurated a child-friendly hospital building and pledged the government support for necessary equipment and other facilities here Saturday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Paudel shared that the government had made an agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO) for setting up laboratories at 100 health facilities across the country. Miklajung Hospital will be one of these facilities, he added.
The Minister reminded that the government has prioritized the expansion of health services in remote and rural areas. The construction of the hospital building was a joint initiative of the federal and local governments, with a shared investment of Rs 19.8 million.
