Education Minister Pun Calls for Mandatory Computer Teachers in Every School


Kathmandu: Minister of Education, Science and Technology Dr. Mahabir Pun has emphasized the necessity of appointing at least one computer teacher in every community school across the nation. Dr. Pun highlighted this requirement during a briefing at the ministry, emphasizing its importance in ensuring that students in community secondary schools throughout Nepal receive essential computer education.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Dr. Pun stressed that the addition of computer teachers is crucial for educational advancement and should be seen as a priority. He also underscored the importance of timely examination results, advocating that universities should release them within a maximum of three months, a directive that extends to the National Examination Board.



Moreover, Minister Pun has instructed relevant officials to enhance the appeal of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. His directives include clearing large bushes within the university premises and developing attractive gardens and sidewalks, aiming to create a more inviting campus environment.
