Surkhet: Vice President of the Nepali Congress, Purna Bahadur Khadka, has emphasized the necessity for political parties to conduct a thorough review of their performance and policies. Khadka made the statement while speaking to media representatives after surveying the Nepali Congress Party Office in Surkhet, which suffered significant damage following the recent Gen-Z protest. He remarked on the urgency of the situation, stating that all political parties need to engage in introspection during such challenging times.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Khadka suggested that it would be premature to discuss all aspects of the current situation as the government has established a commission to investigate the matter. He stressed the importance of the government taking decisive action against individuals responsible for acts of arson and vandalism.
Khadka also urged the government to ensure conditions are conducive for the upcoming election, which has already been announced.
