27th Pokhara Street Festival Scheduled from December 28 to January 1


Pokhara: The 27th edition of the Pokhara Street Festival is set to take place from December 28 to January 1 in the Lakeside area of Pokhara. The event will be organized along a stretch of approximately 3.5 kilometers adjacent to Phewa Lake.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN) Pokhara revealed these details during a press conference in Itahari. The festival is being held under the slogan “Let’s eat on the street, let’s dance on the street, let’s celebrate on the street,” highlighting its role in promoting food, culture, and music, as well as enhancing tourism in Pokhara.



The event is organized in conjunction with ‘Visit Pokhara Year 2025,’ an initiative announced by Pokhara Metropolitan City. Key attractions of the festival include cultural floats and dances from various ethnic groups in Nepal, a food festival featuring national and international cuisines, performances by renowned artists, and a variety of competitions such as a boat race and waiter races on Phewa Lake, a tug-of-war, and more. The festival will also feature tourism-related talks, documentaries, and photo exhibitions.



Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd. is the main sponsor of the festival, with co-sponsors including Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited, The Nepal Distillery Pvt. Ltd., Yeti Distillery Pvt. Ltd., and Nepal Telecom. Siddhartha Bank is serving as the banking partner for the event.
