Madhesh: The Council of Ministers has been expanded today on the recommendation of Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav. Chief Minister Yadav has assumed the responsibility of the Office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, as well as several key ministries, including Physical Infrastructure Development, Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Sports and Social Welfare, Home, Communications and Law, Forests and Environment, and Labor and Transport.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a press release issued by the acting secretary of the Province Chief’s Office, Shatrudhan Yadav, detailed the allocations. Mahesh Prasad Yadav is now responsible for the Ministry of Finance, Jangi Lal Raya for Health and Population, Jawahar Lal Kushwaha for Energy, Irrigation and Drinking Water, Rani Kumari Tiwari for Education and Culture, and Kanish Patel for Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
The press release also noted that the newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy before the province chief at a ceremony held at the provincial chief’s office today.
