Gaur: All schools in the Gaur Municipality in the Rautahat district have been closed until Friday as a precaution against the biting cold that has affected the district in recent days. The decision was made to safeguard the health of schoolchildren and to address disruptions in regular classes.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a notice was issued on Monday by the Gaur Municipality, announcing a holiday for all community and institutional schools until December 26. The Chief Administrative Officer of Gaur Municipality, Subas Kumar Thakur, stated that the decision was made in light of the severe cold, which has had an impact on normal life in the district since the second week of December. The holiday is planned to be adjusted with the summer break to ensure the academic calendar remains unaffected.
