Baitadi: A person died in a tractor accident that occurred at Sanigad Khola of Sigas Rural Municipality-8 in Baitadi district today. The deceased was identified as Lokendra Bohara, 25, from Tolkhet.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the tractor, with registration number Supa 01001 Ta 1384, was on its way to Deulekh of Bajhang from Lupun of Sigas Rural Municipality-8 when it met with an accident at Tolkhet. The circumstances leading to the accident are still being investigated.
Police Inspector Suraj Singh from the District Police Office stated that they had established contact with the tractor driver, Dan Bahadur Dhami, 30. The investigation into the incident is currently underway. It was reported that the tractor fell approximately 300 metres down the roadway.
