NA Endorses Bill for Clause-Wise Deliberations on Nepal Special Service Act

Kathmandu: A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) today unanimously endorsed a proposal to send the Bill relating to the revival of the previous provision under the Nepal Special Service Act-2042 (1985) to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-by-clause deliberations. Earlier, the NA, which serves as the upper house of the Federal Parliament, received the proposal from the House of Representatives along with its message.

According to National News Agency Nepal, NA Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal put the proposal forward for a decision and subsequently announced its unanimous endorsement by the session. The proposal was tabled by Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

The Upper House is scheduled to convene next at 1:15 pm on September 1.
