Triyuga:A pedestrian has succumbed to injuries sustained in a collision with a scooter at Sangam toll located in Triyuga municipality-11 in the district.
According to National News Agency RSS, Ram Bahadur Karki, a pedestrian, was struck by a scooter (State 3-02-012 P 4822) while traveling on foot. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at Sangam Toll in Triyuga-11, as the scooter was proceeding from Inar Chowk toward Pipalchowk.
District Police Chief Superintendent of Police Rajan Chapagain reported that Karki sustained critical injuries from the collision and was transported to the district hospital for medical intervention. However, the physician pronounced him deceased upon examination. Scooter driver Dilip KC, a resident, has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
