Kathmandu:Minister for Agriculture, Forests and Environment Gita Chaudhary met with Speaker DP Aryal at his office to discuss Nepal’s involvement in the upcoming United Nations Climate Conference (COP-31).
According to National News Agency RSS, the COP-31 is scheduled to take place from November 9-20 in Antalya, Turkey. During the meeting, Minister Chaudhary informed Speaker Aryal about the financial support Nepal will receive for climate justice initiatives. The country is set to obtain two million USD from the Loss and Damage Fund and 4.5 million USD from the Adaptation Fund.
