Former State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul
Islam Titu along with 129 people were indicted in a case filed under Speedy
Trial Act in the district yesterday.
Monir Hossain, a student of European University of Bangladesh, filed the case
with Tangail Senior Judicial Magistrate Court yesterday over an attack on a
rally of anti-discrimination student movement on July 18, said plaintiff
Advocate MA Malek Adnan.
Judge of the Senior Magistrate Court Poshupoti Biswas ordered the Officer-in-
Charge (OC) of Nagarpur Thana to include the case.
Ahsanul Islam Titu’s brother Panna was also charged with the case.
