The police has recovered a 9mm pistol which was robbed by miscreants from Uttara East police station with other arms and ammunition during anti-discrimination student movement.
OC of Uttara East Thana police station told BSS that they recovered the pistol Saturday from a drain near Nawab Habibullah Model School and College at Uttara in the city.
However, none was arrested in this connection.
OC also said many firearms were looted from the police station during Anti-discrimination student movement.
Police has recovered some of the firearms; OC said adding that drive for recovery of other firearms is continuing.
