Two people have gone missing and three others have sustained injuries after a tractor plunged into the Seti river in Bajhang district today.
Information Officer at the District Police Office, Kishor Joshi said the tractor driver and another person have been missing in the incident occurred this morning. Sanjaya Budha, 20, a resident of Bheri Municipality-2, Jajarkot was driving the tractor. The driver lost control and the vehicle fell 50 metres down into the river, Joshi said.
The registration number of the tractor and the name of the next missing person are not known, according to Joshi. Those injured in the incident have been rescued and a search is ongoing for the missing persons, he added.
