IU decides to continue in-person classes


The deans committee of

Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has decided to start offline classes.

An IU press release signed by its acting registrar H M Ali Hasan confirmed.

According to the release, departments are requested to take necessary steps

to resume in-person classes by making a decision in the departmental academic

committee meeting regarding the matter.

Earlier on September 21, a deans committee meeting was held at 11am with its

Senior Professor Dr A B M Siddiqur Rahman Asrafi, in-charge of academic and

administrative role of the university in absence of the Vice Chancellor (VC),

in the chair.

All the faculty deans except Social Science and Arts faculty were present at

the meeting.
