A landslide buried a house in Baitadi last midnight.
A two-storied cemented house of Surendra Rokaya from Jokhalli, Dilashan rural municipality-4 was destroyed in the landslide. However, no casualty was reported, according to District Police Office’s Spokesperson, Janak Raj Dhungana.
The family lost their belongings including foodstuff in the landslide.
Upon the realisation that the landslide was occurring, the family of nine evacuated the house to take shelter in the relatives’ home. Further details are awaited.
