Dubai: Nepal lost the match against Bangladesh by seven wickets in the ongoing ACC U19 Asia Cup. Winning the toss at the Seven Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh chose to field first.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Bangladesh chased the victory target, completing it in 24.5 overs with the loss of three wickets. Zawad Abrar was a key player for Bangladesh, contributing 70 runs not out in 68 balls, while Kalam Siddiki added 34 runs in 66 balls. On the Nepalese side, Abhisekh Tiwari and Yubraj Khatri managed to take one wicket each.
Earlier in the match, Nepal set a target of 130 runs, losing all their wickets in 31.1 overs of the 50-over match. Abhishesh Tiwari was the top scorer for Nepal with 30 runs, followed by Ashish Luhar with 23 runs and Sahil Patel with 18 runs. In the bowling department, Md Sobuj from Bangladesh took three wickets, while Saad Islam, Azizul Hakim, and Shahriar Ahmed each took two wickets.
