Taplejung: The Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh (NNJS) Taplejung chapter has launched a basic computer training program for blind people in an effort to equip them with essential computer skills. The initiative aims to empower blind individuals by enhancing their technological capabilities.
According to National News Agency Nepal, this training program is supported by Phungling Municipality. Narsingh Limbu, Chairman of NNJS Taplejung, emphasized the importance of the program in promoting economic independence among blind individuals by providing them with access to technology and facilitating its usage.
A total of 10 blind students are currently participating in the computer training. The training is scheduled to continue until the first week of February 2026, offering ample time for participants to gain proficiency in computer handling.
