Bhojpur: The tourist sites in Bhojpur district, including Kailash Parbat and Harit Hill, are being promoted and preserved to develop the hills as key tourist attractions. The hills at Sikretar in Arun Rural Municipality-7 have seen an increase in domestic tourists recently.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Ward Chairman of Arun Rural Municipality-7, Kumar Thapa, stated that efforts are underway to develop these hills and promote them as major tourist destinations. Trekking routes and other infrastructures are being constructed to facilitate tourists’ journeys.
The province government has extended its support for this initiative, according to Chairman Thapa. Plans are in place to develop the sites as an integrated tourist hub, including Kailash Parbat, Harit Hill, Gaurishankar Mandir, and Singhadevi Mandir. Local residents have praised the local government’s efforts and hope to attract more internal and international tourists.
