Kathmandu:Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song, has described the relationship between China and Nepal as unique. During a farewell ceremony held at the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, Ambassador Song expressed his commitment to supporting Nepal from any position he may hold in the future. Ambassador Song is set to return to China on Wednesday after completing his three-year tenure in Nepal.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Ambassador Song conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the government of Nepal, government employees, diplomatic colleagues, media personnel, and the Nepali society for their support during his term. He expressed his fond memories of Nepal and its people, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations.
The farewell event was attended by ministers, lawmakers, and chiefs and office-bearers of diplomatic missions in Kathmandu. Former ministers, industrialists, media persons, and artists also graced the occasion, underscoring the significance of the diplomatic relationship between Nepal and China.
