Kathmandu: Today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) will also discuss the policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year. Discussions on these policies and programmes have been ongoing since last Monday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Federal Parliament Secretariat has announced that the HoR meeting will be held at 11:00 am today. Prior to the commencement of the House meeting, the meetings of the International Relations and Tourism, Legislative Management, Public Policy and Delegation Legislation, and Federalism Empowerment Committees are scheduled to take place.
Deliberations on the policies and programmes are also underway in the National Assembly meeting. The National Assembly is scheduled to convene at 1:15 pm on May 11, where Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is expected to respond to the queries raised during the meeting, as confirmed by General Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat Padma Prasad Pandey to RSS.
