Khandbari: A dry landslide has obstructed the Khandbari-Kimathanka road section of the Koshi highway this morning. Chairperson of Bhotkhola rural municipality, Wangchhedar Bhote, reported that the landslide occurred at the Dhigdanda section, which is located 109 kilometers away from Khandbari. This incident has buried approximately 30 meters of the road at the affected site.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the landslide has caused significant disruption, leaving vehicles traveling towards Bhotkhola Khandbari and those headed to various destinations from Khandbari stranded. The blockage on this critical roadway has impacted transportation and logistics in the region, highlighting the challenges posed by natural events in maintaining essential infrastructure.
