Kathmandu: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, announced that his party is making all possible efforts to address the demands of agitating teachers. Inaugurating the second conference of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Sindhupalchowk-Kathmandu Liaison and Coordination Committee, Chair Dahal highlighted his commitment to implementing agreements with teachers from his time as Prime Minister.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dahal, who is also a former Prime Minister, emphasized the importance of institutionalizing the Constitution, federal democratic republic, and inclusive and proportional systems. He acknowledged that after entering the peace process, the party faced various factions and splits, but expressed optimism that the process of unity among Maoist factions will soon be fundamentally achieved.
Dahal further claimed that the postal road campaign initiated by his party has generated increasing interest in the Maoist party. He announced that the campaign will resume from tomorrow and will extend to Kanchanpur. Dahal also reflected on his previous journey from Jhapa to Kapilvastu, where he had the opportunity to engage with millions of people.
Vice Chair of the Maoist Center and former Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota also addressed the gathering, stating that there will soon be unity among the political parties of the Maoist faction.
