Environment Minister Commends NTNC’s Conservation Efforts


Kathmandu: Minister for Forests and Environment, Madhav Prasad Chulagain, has applauded the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) for its conservation initiatives. During his visit to the NTNC central office today, he lauded the organization for its significant contributions to wildlife protection and the restoration of natural ecosystems. He also assured the government’s continued support to help NTNC achieve its future objectives.



According to National News Agency Nepal, NTNC member-secretary Dr. Naresh Subedi briefed the Minister about the institution’s efforts in wildlife and nature conservation. He highlighted that the community-based conservation model implemented to bridge the gap between local livelihoods and environmental protection through active community participation has proven to be effective.



NTNC, in turn, expressed its appreciation for the ministry’s ongoing collaboration in pursuing shared conservation goals.
