Washington dc: Minister for Finance Rameshwor Prasad Khanal, currently in Washington DC for the World Bank and International Monetary Fund annual meetings, dedicated Monday and Tuesday to a series of important meetings and discussions.
According to National News Agency Nepal, on Tuesday, Minister Khanal met with Deputy United States Trade Representative Bryan Switzer. The discussions centered on bilateral trade and tax policies, with both parties considering the dialogue to be productive. This meeting involved officials from both the United States and Nepal.
Additionally, on the same day, Minister Khanal held a discussion with Abdul Rahman Al-Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development, focusing on cooperation. Earlier in the week, Minister Khanal engaged with representatives from various international organizations that are actively involved in Nepal’s development efforts.
The discussions were attended by Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States Lok Darshan Regmi, Embassy representat
ives, members of Minister Khanal’s delegation, and other staff members.
