Bangalore: The Indo-Nepal Cultural Festival, hosted in Bangalore by the Nepali Janasamparka Samiti South Indian region, concluded this week, marking a significant event aimed at promoting cultural ties between the two nations. The festival featured a range of activities including cultural dances, music, and poetry, which imparted a message of strengthening Nepal-India friendship through amicable cultural exchanges.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Balkrishna Pandey, President of the Janasamparka Samiti India, emphasized the importance of such cultural programs in promoting Nepali art and culture among the diaspora. He highlighted that the relationship between Nepal and India is rooted not only in geographical proximity but also in cultural and spiritual unity. Pandey expressed confidence that these initiatives would continue to foster mutual friendship, cooperation, and a shared identity.
In addition to the cultural festivities, the committee organized a free health camp in collaboration with the Indo-Nepal team. This initiative further underscored the commitment to enhancing bilateral relationships beyond cultural engagements.
