Pathibhara: The Pathibhara area, home to a renowned shrine in the Taplejung district, has experienced its first snowfall of the season. Light rains on Friday afternoon marked the onset of the snowfall, which began last night.
According to National News Agency RSS, the snowfall has brought a chill to the area, as noted by Rajendra Mahat, an employee at the Pathibhara Area Development Committee. The Committee has advised pilgrims to exercise caution against the cold.
Despite the chilly weather, the snowfall has not significantly deterred visitors. Instead, it has provided an opportunity for pilgrims to enjoy the snow after completing their prayers at the shrine. The area has seen an influx of devotees since early morning.
