Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has lost his father, Bhoj Prasad Bhattarai, who passed away at the age of 97. Bhoj Prasad Bhattarai breathed his last at Neuro Hospital Bansbari in Kathmandu this morning. The news of his passing was confirmed by Bhattarai’s daughter, Manushi Yami Bhattarai.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Manushi stated, “Our grandfather had entered 97 after completing 96 years. He passed away this morning.” She further informed that his last rites will be conducted at Pashupati Aryaghat today. Bhoj Prasad Bhattarai is survived by his two sons and two daughters.
