Recognizing his sacrifice, the government has taken steps to honor his contribution to journalism and society by bestowing upon him the designation of a martyr.
The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting, as informed by Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel. This move demonstrates the government’s acknowledgment of the importance of journalistic endeavors and the risks associated with reporting in challenging circumstances.
