Kathmandu: The government has clarified its plan to adjust the positions of civil personnel with the aim of enhancing service delivery in agencies experiencing high workload.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has announced that additional employee positions will be allocated to sectors burdened with a high workload. This decision was made to address the confusion arising from the secretaries’ meeting on September 16.
Dr. Bhishma Kumar Bhusal, Joint Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, stated that the secretary-level meeting decided on this approach to better manage posts in agencies struggling with service delivery due to workload pressures. The adjustment process is designed to ensure that the career development of civil servants remains unaffected.
