Hazy Weather Conditions Persist in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Valley remains shrouded in haze, with air pollution continuing to affect the region’s weather conditions. However, meteorologists anticipate an improvement in the coming days.

According to National News Agency Nepal, meteorologist Binu Maharjan predicts that with the increasing wind pace, the haze will begin to dissipate starting Friday. Although there is no current forecast for rainfall in the Kathmandu Valley, the haze is expected to clear gradually. Maharjan noted that while today is cooler compared to yesterday, temperatures are expected to rise again the following day.

The Weather Forecasting Division reports that the country is experiencing a partial impact from westerly and local winds, which is causing partly cloudy conditions in the hilly regions, including Lumbini Province, today.
