Health Minister Visits Singha Durbar Ayurvedic Clinic


Kathmandu: Minister for Health and Population Dr. Sudha Gautam had an inspection visit to the Singha Durbar Ayurvedic Clinic (Vaidyakhana) Development Committee’s at Anamnagar on Friday. On the occasion, she assured the Ministry’s dedication to offering essential support to the committee for the production of Ayurvedic medicines. Minister Dr. Gautam stressed the need for increased promotion, noting that the Ayurvedic medicines and nutritional supplements produced by the clinic were yet to receive sufficient publicity.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Dr. Gautam highlighted the importance of transforming people’s lifestyles through citizen health centres, emphasizing the role of the government in this endeavor. She also reminded that maintaining the quality of Ayurvedic medicines is crucial.



During the event, Executive Director of the committee, Dr. Pradeep KC, reported that the committee was currently producing 94 different types of medicines. Acting Director General of the Department of Ayurveda and Alternative Medicine, Dr. Shyam Babu Yadav, was also present during the monitoring.
