Kathmandu: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the timely conduct of the House of Representatives election on March 5. At a program organized in the District Coordination Committee meeting hall, he urged public office heads to facilitate a conducive environment for the elections.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Kharel emphasized the government’s efforts in making the necessary preparations for the elections. He mentioned that resources and human personnel are being mobilized to support the process and dispel any doubts regarding the election timeline. Kharel called on civil servants, political parties, security agencies, and election offices to remain confident about the election proceedings. He also advised office heads to maintain focus on regular service delivery to prevent any public grievances.
Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Risal added that efforts are underway to assess polling stations and evaluate the current state of affairs in relation to the upcoming elections.
