NPL 2025: Biratnagar Kings Sets 136-Run Target Against Janakpur Bolts


Biratnagar: Biratnagar Kings has posted a 136-run victory target before Janakpur Bolts in the first match under the ongoing Nepal Premier League today. Losing the toss at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Biratnagar was invited to bat first and made 135 runs at 20 overs losing seven wickets.



According to National News Agency Nepal, for Biratnagar, Shubham Ranjane contributed the highest with 37 runs in 29 balls. Bashir Ahmad followed closely with 36 runs, while Lokesh Bam added 28 runs. Martin Guptill and George Munsey contributed 13 and 10 runs, respectively.



On the bowling front, Janakpur’s Rupesh Singh and Sangeeth Kure each took two wickets, while Aditya Mahata claimed one wicket.
