Nepal: Nepal’s Shivali Gurung has won the dual titles in the ITF World Tennis Tour Circuit-2 held at Tennis Complex in the Pokhara Stadium of Kaski district.
According to National News Agency Nepal, in the finals of the Women’s Single of Circuit-2, Gurung lifted the title by defeating Chinese Taipei’s Ke-Chieh Hsu Hsuchi. Earlier, Shivali had won the Circuit-1 title. Fourteen-year-old Gurung won the titles of Circuit-1 and Circuit-2 in both Women’s Singles and Women’s Doubles, amassing a total of 75 points.
In the Women’s Doubles, Shivali partnered with Chinese Taipei’s Ke-Chieh Hsu Hsuchi to defeat India’s Tejwoshi Manneni and New Zealand’s Boidehi Ukil. Meanwhile, in the Men’s Singles, Chinese Taipei’s Ting-Ho Yan claimed the title by defeating South Korean Yul Ho Jung.
In the Men’s Doubles category, Korean players Hyojin Ha and Yul Ho Jung emerged victorious against the Indian players.
