Letter of Credence Presented by Nepal’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka


Colombo: Nepal’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Purna Bahadur Nepali, has presented his letter of credence before Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. Ambassador Nepali presented the letter at a special ceremony held at the Office of the President on Monday.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the Embassy of Nepal in Colombo reported that during the ceremony, Ambassador Nepali conveyed well-wishes from President Ramchandra Paudel to the Sri Lankan President. These wishes included hopes for President Dissanayake’s personal happiness, good health, and the continued peace and progress of the people of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.



In response, President Dissanayake welcomed Ambassador Nepali and reciprocated with wishes for President Paudel’s personal happiness, good health, along with peace and prosperity for the people of Nepal. The ceremony saw the attendance of Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister, the Secretary at the Office of the President, the spouse of the ambassador, and senior officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
