Kathmandu: The Nepal Bar Association (NBA) has marked its 70th establishment day with a commemorative event attended by Chief Justice Prakash Mansingh Raut, Supreme Court justices, senior advocates, and other legal professionals.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the event featured a ceremony where Chief Justice Raut, justices, the Chairman of the NBA, Prof. Dr. Bijay Prasad Mishra, and other legal practitioners paid tribute to the founders of the NBA by garlanding their images.
During the occasion, NBA Chairman Mishra emphasized the importance of the rule of law and an independent judiciary. He highlighted the NBA’s ongoing efforts to protect human rights and uphold the rule of law. The NBA was established on Poush 7, 2013 BS.
