Kathmandu: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has asserted that the election to the House of Representatives (HoR) would be held in the designated time. Talking to journalists after observing the Chhath pooja on the bank of Gangasagar pond in Janakpurdham this evening, he said the HoR election would be held on coming March 5 without any doubt.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Aryal emphasized that there is no alternative to the election, expressing his commitment to ensuring full security arrangements for the event. He highlighted the importance of the electoral process and assured the public that preparations were on track to facilitate a smooth and secure election.
The minister also reflected on the significance of the Chhath festival, describing it as a symbol of natural public faith. He noted that the festival has played a crucial role in fostering mutual harmony among various groups and communities, reinforcing the social fabric of the nation.
