A young man was killed and another injured in
a road accident in Bakshiganj upazila of the district this afternoon.
The victim was identified as Shamim Miah, 16, son of Pukka Miah at village
east Chhonkanda Mridhapara in Shreebordi upazila under Sherpur district.
According to police a Dhanua-Kamalpur bound covered van from Bakshiganj
rammed an auto rickshaw from opposite direction on the Bakshiganj- Roumari
road in front of Upazila Parishad. Shamim died on the spot.
Critically injured Rakibul was admitted to Bakshiganj Health Complex.
