Damauli: Vice President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Dr Swarnim Wagle, emphasized the primary duty of parliament to establish the system and build the nation. Speaking at a programme in Damauli, he expressed the high expectations placed upon him by the citizens of Tanahu-1, who elected him to parliament during the last by-election. He reiterated that the main role of parliament is to build the nation and enact laws, emphasizing his commitment to help establish the system.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dr Wagle stated his commitment and honesty in fulfilling his duties and responsibilities as a parliamentarian. He acknowledged the requests from locals for support in water supply and other development projects but noted that these demands could not be fully addressed due to budgetary constraints.
During the event, Dr Wagle handed over materials to the Damauli Drinking Water and Sanitation Consumers Project. This project provides drinking water through 3,800 private taps, benefiting over 25,000 residents.
